I have a business need to compare two 400MB xml files to see differencies easily, your tool wasn\'t very flexible for that....Yours,Kari Toikkanen, Helsinki
Did the job required.
I quickly needed a tool to compare two Xml files (both 59K). I downloaded and installed multiple. FreeDiff, sorry to say so, reported a buffer too small error. Since the testfiles were 59K, and definitve ones would be > 2 M i stopped using it.Sorry because it lloked quite nice and promising.
Brilliant software
Great file comparison tool.
I used your product to compare XML files used for configurations. FreeDiff was extremely easy to use and served my purpose perfectly.Thank you for making FreeDiff readily available on the internet - and for FREE!
| ID3 renamer 2.15.15 |
|
Useful if you need to rename a large number of files in a directory accordingly to their ID3 description and a given "formula" (e.g. (%Track) %Artist - %Title). Such a function is pretty "smart", as it lets you assembly the filename as you wish and use the variables from the ID3 tag in the filename. You can also fill ID3 tag with some smart functions.

Didn\'t work for me unfortunately just kept getting error, probably my bad but still
I tried this program on a few files and it seems to be working fin but I have not yet tested all the functions. Anyway it does what I was looking for . Thanks a lot for your work.
I suppose it works, but it screen lay-out is hopeless. I do not what kind of text is written on the buttons, but I am sure it was not English. That makes it pretty hard to work with.
Im sure this product is very goood but it was unable to do what I required
one of the most complicated things i have ever seen. straighten it out please.
1- I don't like it that there's no preview option2- I don't know why but when I used the option "Tag from filename" the "Continue" Button wasn't accessible so this option was useless. Mp3tag v2.43 works like a charm and it's also freeware........

Program worked renaming winrar files. Save me alot of time.
How the heck do you use it?
Hi guys, I only used it once, but I loved it. It was pretty intuitive. You have it crowded up at the top--I think you can use a little more space at the top. Explicit drop downs when right clicking over each function would be nice. What I really would like is a trial run, just to make sure what you think you are doing really happens, then push a second button to actually perform the operation on your files. Thanks, vlt
This is an excellent little program. I've only just started working with it but it looks like it has a lot of potential.
Not GUI Enough Nice program. Good effort. Maybe it's just me but I found it difficult to rename folders. If it were a little more graphical a guy like me could figure it out sooner. I read all the DOC's but I am going to have to experiment a little more. Nonetheless, I am always appreciative of freeware.
Good Prgram. This is a very helpfull software.

A great little Programme. It does what it says it will do.But I missed the option to use parts of the old file name in the new file name.Kind regardsSimon, DK
Pretty nice product. I was able to solve my problem with it. Particularly liked ability to go through subdirectories, and preview feature.
This progam managed to do what I wanted it to do. After some minutes of browsing the interface and experimenting renaming of files, I was able to work out the functions and effects. It worked for me ...
didn't realize this wasn't for the Mac -- sorry, couldn't use it.
This is the best program I have found to rename files. It gives you every option on renaming that you can imagine. I had used ACDSEE's automatic rename when transferring pictures and videos, but recently got an AVCHD camera, which ACDSEE does not support. I have been able to use THE Rename to get exactly the same file name types as with ACDSEE.
Good morningIt just does'nt want to work, looking for a DLL !!SorryHave a good timeGerard

Great Tool. I had to replace a couple of strings in hundreds of files (batch replace) and with HFT this was really easy and fast.
HFT did not meet my needs which were to change/correct some file attributes in jpg files.I will be uninstalling.Thank you.
Great tool It's been a very helpful tool. It will also be nice to have it so that u can open all selected files with any application you choose, like maybe some text editor of your choice.
Useful but it didin`t fill all my expectation I used this program to mainly batch rename some files, but I couldn't use it for the type of renaming I was trying to accomplish. It can do batch renaming but with limited options.
Fantastic wonderful tool It's a really nice tool. Hats off to the guys who developed it. I have saved a lot of time because of this tool.
Thanks again
Handy File is Great! I've been trying to find something like this brilliant little tool for years. It works like a batch file across all selected folders and files and is far superior to Filemonkey.I've already used it to clear out 300Mb of large backup files from a variety of applications and replace out-of-date details on my stationery - all in about five minutes. It's simple, fast and customisable. The "basket" concept takes a bit of getting used to but it's not a major drawback.

Great program. Does what it is suposed to do. Did the job in 5 minutes. By hand it would have taken several hours. Renames a bunch of files within a few clicks and seconds.
Useful application for renaming all my photos from DSC???? to something more recognizable. It is very flexible and you just need to remember that the rules are performed one after another. The user interface can be better if it matches the workflow. I would like to selected my files / folders first and then say what I want to do with them so I expected the selection window pane to be on the left. Generally a useful application. Another idea for the developer is to save the set of rules as profiles for future use, i.e different profiles for photos, ...
Opinion I have been downloaded and installed the software and I found it very usefull.
Good software, small size, easy to install, good GUI. Had to rename about 4000 mp3 files using tags, and with this software it was almost pain-free...I didn\'t rename them all at once, but at a few hundreds at a time. It did take several minutes to do the lot, but I found it acceptable especially considering that I was doing it through the network on a NAS (external storage).
This renamer is exactly that what I looked for. I'm very happy with. Simple, and very efficient, does it contain all the functions I need. Thanks
Works great for JPGs, but disappointed that it doesn't recognise RAW format files (e.g. NEF files from Nikon cameras) as an image, so doesn't look at the exif data - hence rename gives unexpected results. It's great that you can 'test' the outcome of your rename configuration, and preview the results before actually renaming the files.Renaming configurations can be saved, so you can easily use different methods for your Nikon vs. your Canon sourced pictures.
| HexDump32 1.0.0 |
|
HexDump32 is a small Win32 utility which opens up a file and displays its data in hexadecimal and ASCII format. Note: HexDump32 is not an editor. The binary contents of files can be viewed but not modified. The dump has the segment offset on the left, hex values in the center, and ASCII interpretation on the right. Characters which are not readily displayable (outside of ASCII 32 - 126) are displayed in the ASCII representation.

it seems to work.
I was just looking for a simple hex dump program. This goes way beyond that. Great utility. Every programmer should have a copy.
This is a very usefull tool. Thank you very much for providing it!
Absolutely a great product! Thanks.
The program does what is advertised in a nominal manner. The only fault I find with it (and this may well be the fault of Windows 7) is that when the program is opened via the Win7 \"Open With\" selection from an explorer context menu is that the program opens *under* the explorer window. The first time this happened, I erroneously inferred that the program had failed to open at all.
Good utility. Works as advertised.
